# Register the Syncfusion runtime license

Registers the embedded Syncfusion license key with the Syncfusion runtime. Must run once per process before any Syncfusion API is used by any converter, extractor, or merge operation in this library.

## Steps

1. Pass a hard-coded multi-key license string (embedded in source, commented as licensed to
   `andmil@saif.com` for version 17.4) to `Syncfusion.Licensing.SyncfusionLicenseProvider.RegisterLicense` ([BR-SFC-039](../business-rules.md#br-sfc-039-syncfusion-license-registered-once-per-process)).

## Failure and edge-case behavior

- The embedded key is annotated for Syncfusion version 17.4 while the project builds against
  18.3; whether the key remains valid for the 18.3 runtime — and what happens if it does not (watermark vs. exception) — cannot be determined from source.**
- Every operation in this library that invokes the Syncfusion SDK depends on this operation having
  already run once in the current process; this library does not itself verify or enforce that ordering.
